This is an extension of merge client record feature. Client record deletion is permanent. Recovery is possible but with caveats:

1. Recovered record will very likely have data missing, this is because we can only recover from database snapshot. And snapshots are taken at interval. Also we only keep snapshots taken every 2 hours for 7 days.

2. All attachments are generally not recoverable and will be unrecoverable once it passes GCP's safe delete period. To be confirmed how long this is.

3. The source client record's clinician assignment will be compared against target's clinician assignment, if they are the same, future appointments remain. Otherwise source client record's clinician assignment is removed and future appointments related to the clinician is then cancelled. Same situation applies to mentor.
