A new toggle allows practices to lock data within non-active episodes. When enabled, only Superusers can create and edit data within non-active episodes.

What Gets Locked

• Appointments — cannot be created, cancelled, or updated
• Health Information — cannot be edited
• Case Notes — cannot be created, edited, or deleted
• Invoices — cannot be created or updated
• Letters — cannot be created or updated; drafts cannot be published
• Reports — cannot be created or updated; drafts cannot be published

Superuser Override

If a Superuser creates or edits data within a non-active episode, the corresponding activity log item will include a note detailing the changes made — providing a full audit trail.

Where to Find It

This toggle is available in the Control Panel and is designed for practices that need to protect historical episode data from accidental modifications.
