Release Note

New General Settings Controls

Release date:

We have added a set of new options to Control Panel > General Settings. Each one defaults to how Tacklit works today, so nothing changes for your practice until a Superuser turns it on.

Client Creation

• Default client record type: choose whether Add Client starts on a Full profile or a Profile record only.
• Lock the default record type: hide the other option so every new client is created the same way. Useful for practices not using the client portal.
• Default profile type (coming in the next release): choose Adult, Young Person, Child or Couple as the type Add Client opens on.

Safeguarding Alerts

• Choose exactly who is emailed when a case note raises a safeguarding alert. Instead of every Superuser, pick specific roles (including custom roles) and individual staff.

HealthLink Settings

• Only send HealthLink to a client's referring practice: when on, HealthLink messages about a client can only be addressed to a practice recorded as one of their referrers.

Episode Settings

• Auto-create an episode when a referral is linked to a client, using the default type and reason you set.
• Auto-close the linked episode when a referral moves to a status that ends its pathway, such as Did Not Proceed or Exited Service.

Where to Find It

Control Panel > General Settings. These options are available to Superusers. HealthLink and Episode settings appear on accounts using those features.
