Package Auto-Rollover

Release date:

Packages can now be configured to automatically refresh allowances on a recurring cycle — removing the need for admin to manually re-assign or reset packages when a new period starts. Particularly useful for EAP contracts and funded care programs with annual session caps.

Where to Find It

Package template editor (create or edit any package) > new “Auto-Rollover” section at the bottom of the form.

How It Works

1. Toggle Auto-Rollover on to reveal configuration options

2. Choose a rollover type:
• Calendar Year — refreshes annually on 1 January by default, or pick a custom date (e.g. 1 July for fiscal year)
• Anniversary — refreshes on the anniversary of each client’s assignment date

3. Choose a rollover action:
• Reset package usage to 0 — same package, usage counter resets to zero
• Add new package — creates a new package instance for the client with the same settings. Choose whether the previous package is closed or left active.

Good to Know

• Rollovers execute automatically at 2am daily in the practice’s timezone
• After a rollover occurs, a ↻ icon appears on the client’s package card — hover to see full rollover history
• Rollover events also appear in the client’s activity feed
• A summary of the rollover config is shown on the package card in the control panel

The setting applies to all clients currently assigned the package. No retrospective rollover is triggered for past dates — it takes effect from the next eligible date forward.
