Smarter Appointment Scheduling & Location Management
We've rolled out a set of improvements to appointment availability and location handling to make scheduling more accurate, flexible, and consistent across telehealth and face-to-face bookings.
Face-to-Face Location Selection
Face-to-face appointment types now support explicit practice location selection
Select one or multiple locations (up to 15) per appointment type
Appointment types can be configured as location-specific or available across all locations
Telehealth Availability
Appointment availabilities for Video, Audio, and Phone Dial sessions are now calculated based on clinician schedule telehealth locations
Clinicians must select Telehealth in their schedule location slots for telehealth availabilities to appear
Location-Aware Availability
Face-to-face availability is now filtered by clinician schedule location, ensuring location-specific bookings only surface when clinicians are actually scheduled at those locations
Room Enforcement
Room selection now respects appointment type and location rules
Rooms tied to a specific location will no longer be selectable for other locations
Appointment Instructions Priority
Appointment instructions now follow a clear priority order:
Instructions entered during appointment booking
Face-to-face location instructions
Account-level guidance note
Further Enhancements
Added "Any Location" option to clinician schedule setup for greater flexibility
