Letter Builder V2: Send Management

Release date:

The Letter Builder V2 editor now includes a redesigned send workflow, giving you full control over recipients, channels, and send history without leaving the editor.

Context Bar

• Letter metadata (client, episode, template, title, subject, status) displayed at the top of the editor
• Editable when the letter is in draft, read-only when published

Recipient Bar

• Manage recipients directly from the editor — add from address book, referrers, or key contacts
• Per-recipient channel toggles: email, eFax, and HealthLink (based on account config and contact details on file)
• Draft recipients are saved with the letter so you don’t lose your selection

Send Modal

• Two-tab interface: Send and Send History
Send — pre-populates from your draft recipients, supports send now or schedule for later, optional note
Send History — chronological log of every send: who, which channel, when, and delivery status
• Resend to the same recipient in one click
• Revoke email access if a letter was sent to the wrong person

Good to Know

V1 letters are untouched — this is part of the V2 editor, gated by feature toggle. Publishing and all existing send channels (email, fax, HealthLink) work the same way under the hood.
