How Tacklit Supports Behavioural Change Programs
We love writing case studies showing what our customers can achieve using Tacklit's mental health care delivery platform. We get even more excited when our customers decide to write it themselves!

Tacklit is a leading mental health platform created to support clinicians in delivering better healthcare to clients. Helm (a division of Caraniche ) partnered with Tacklit to design and deliver digital behavioural change programs that can be accessed online by clients anywhere across Australia.
Helm's Power to Change program is an impactful initiative designed to support individuals seeking to address and overcome challenges related to alcohol / drug use and problem gambling. Leveraging Tacklit’s innovative digital solutions, the Power to Change program has evolved into a highly interactive, personalised, and impactful experience, effectively engaging participants in transformative behavioural change.
Tacklit’s digital platform delivers interactive and engaging content, providing participants with seamless access to tailored educational materials through a dedicated and user-friendly online portal. This personalised approach ensures deeper participant engagement and significantly enhances outcomes, empowering individuals to actively participate in their journey towards positive behavioural change.
Interactive activities and exercises are expertly facilitated using Tacklit’s intuitive digital tools. Program facilitators harness these digital capabilities to create structured and immersive sessions that are easily accessible, enhancing participant interaction, motivation, and retention. The seamless integration of telehealth capabilities further strengthens the program’s flexibility and accessibility, ensuring continuous and consistent participation, regardless of participants' locations or circumstances.
Between session homework ensures participants can engage and get support outside of the scheduled sessions. We deliver short, impactful activities delivered online that can support changing behaviours and adhering to new habits.

The Power to Change Program Sessions
Central to the Power to Change program is empowering participants to create actionable and personalised self-management plans for daily implementation. Tacklit supports this through structured digital activities embedded throughout the program, enabling participants to progressively develop, refine, and present their plans.
Participants reflect on their progress, receive facilitator feedback, and complete the program equipped with a robust personal strategy and certificate of achievement.
This continuous engagement approach helps solidify long- lasting behavioural changes, enabling participants to integrate learned strategies effectively into their everyday lives.
Technical Infrastructure
Tacklit’s infrastructure is built upon advanced, secure, and scalable cloud technology, providing reliable and robust digital delivery. Adopting a mobile-first design approach, Tacklit ensures exceptional accessibility and ease-of-use across diverse mobile devices, making the program accessible to all participants, particularly those with limited data plans or lower-end hardware.
The platform is strategically optimised for low data usage and minimal hardware requirements, guaranteeing smooth and uninterrupted performance even in low-bandwidth environments. Security and privacy are at the forefront of Tacklit’s design principles, with rigorous adherence to the Australian Privacy Act. Data is securely stored, encrypted, and processed exclusively within Australia, assuring participants that their personal information is confidential, protected, and compliant with the highest standards.
