Staff Data Field (SDF)

Release date:

May 31, 2025

The Staff Data Field (SDF) feature allows flexible data points to be stored against team members, similar to the Client Data Field (CDF) functionality.
Key Highlights:

  • Supports all staff roles, including mentors.

  • Enables capturing custom, structured data for internal reference or future AI enrichment.

  • Three visibility levels:

    • Superuser Private: Only visible and editable by superusers.

    • Private: Viewable by both superusers and the individual clinician.

    • Public: Marked as non-sensitive and may be used in the future to enrich Engage profiles, support AI use cases, and more.

Data visibility ensures privacy and appropriate access control across roles.

Additional Notes:

  • This feature is toggleable and can be enabled based on your organisation’s needs.

  • Default system fields (e.g. staff email) are not currently tracked in SDF, unlike how default fields such as email are tracked in CDF.
