Scheduling and Availability Enhancements

Release date:

Dec 1, 2025

We have released a set of improvements that give organisations clearer control over clinician availability and more flexibility in how schedules are managed. Admins can now lock down working hours, schedules can be tied to specific locations, and start times and working days are customisable at both appointment and clinician levels. Clinicians can request or apply temporary overrides with optional approval, and all changes are reflected instantly across the calendar and booking flow. These updates strengthen governance while supporting more adaptive working patterns.

We’ve introduced a set of improvements to make managing schedules simpler, clearer, and more flexible for teams.

Control of Staff Schedules

Admins can now prevent staff from changing their own working hours, helping organisations maintain consistent scheduling settings.

Location Specific Schedule Slots

Each schedule slot can be assigned to a physical location or telehealth, which then appears clearly in the calendar. This removes uncertainty when allocating time.

Flexible Start Times and Working Days

Start times and working days can now be set at two levels:

• By appointment type

• By clinician schedule

This allows different clinicians and services to run with their own working patterns.

Overrides with Optional Approval Workflow

Clinicians can enter temporary changes to their availability, such as leave or short term adjustments. These overrides can be:

• Sent for admin approval

• Auto approved for teams that prefer lighter controls
